State Trooper Is A Part-Time Pimp

Booze
Three state troopers in western New York have been suspended as part of a State Police investigation into allegations that at least one of the troopers was involved in prostitution.
According to New York State Police Superintendent Joseph D'Amico, TitusTaggart, a 41-year-old trooper assigned to Troop T in Buffalo, was suspended without pay, effective April 26.
Taggart, an 18-year veteran of the state police, "is alleged to have organized parties that may have involved the promotion of prostitution, while off-duty," D’Amico said in a press release.
The suspension is the result of an internal investigation that was initiated in December 2011. Authorities have yet to comment on specific allegations. Erie County District Attorney Frank Sedita did not immediately return a call for comment from The Huffington Post..

A Facebook page attributed to Taggart has been deleted, however the Times Union of Albany was able to download a number of images before it was taken down. One of the images shows a man, identified by the newspaper as Taggart, posing with a large bottle of liquor. In another photo, the same man is shown standing in front of an SUV.
Taggart could not be reached for comment. According to Buffnews.com, his father, Arthur Taggart Sr., is a retired State Police colonel. The same media outlet also reported Taggart's cousin, Derrick Luchey, is a former state trooper who was kicked out in 1992 after being convicted of cocaine trafficking. Sentenced to 20 years to life, Luchey was reportedly released in October 2004.
Trooper Jeremy C. Smith, 34, and Trooper Michael L. Petritz, 33, were also suspended without pay on Thursday in connection with a State Police administrative investigation.
D'Amico said Smith, a 10-year veteran of the force, and Petritz, an eight-year trooper, were "suspended for allegedly engaging in misconduct, however, were not involved in organizing the parties."
The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.

Prostitute Steals $500,000 worth Of Jewels From John.

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in finding a prostitute who they say stole over $500,000 worth of precious jewels from her John’s hotel room.
Gem trader Kurt Kaiser, 47, said he met Erika Cooper, 34, innocently enough at the end of a rough day at the Whiskey Bar on Central Park South on April 17.
The two ended up back at his hotel, where they had sex and he passed out, allowing her to slip out with his stash of diamonds.
Kaiser met Cooper late Tuesday night, where he was drinking heavily after he lost out on a deal to sell his stones, according to the New York Post.
Cooper zeroed in on her mark, chatting up a drunk Kaiser and then proposing the two go to the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Tribeca to get a room.
‘I was sitting by myself having a last vodka and soda, and she came up and asked, ‘Mind if I join you?’ I said: ‘Hell, yeah!’ he told the Post.
Kaiser told the paper that before they got to the room, they stopped at a CVS store where she used his credit card to purchase a $500 gift card and a box of condoms.
Then they went off to the Cosmopolitan, where they sealed the deal and had sex. Unfortunately for Kaiser, he fell asleep first.
The Mark: Erika Cooper, 34, of Manhattan, met Kurt Kaiser, 47, in the Whiskey Bar on Central Park South on April 17, before suggesting they head over to the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Tribeca
A Girl’s Best Friend: Surveillance footage from the hotel shows Cooper running barefoot through the halls with Kaiser’s briefcase
Cooper grabbed his briefcase full of uncut diamonds, the certification documents, his passport, watch and sunglasses.
‘It’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever done in my life,’ he said.
Police want Cooper for grand larceny, but say they will not charge Kaiser for soliciting a prostitute.
An NYPD spokesperson told the Mail Online that they had no idea about the $500 payoff.
‘The victim never told us that,’ the spokesperson said, likening the gift card purchase to a man buying dinner for a date.
Police added that Cooper, a Manhattan resident, also goes by the name of ‘Bianca Williams.’
She’s approximately 5’9″, weighs 120 lbs.,and has brown eyes and black hair.
Kaiser is offering a reward for his missing jewels.
‘If she gives them back, I probably won’t press charges,’ he said. ‘She can have someone drop them off at the 1st Precinct.’

The Face Of The New Slavery.

Reality check: There are more slaves in the world today than were taken from Africa in the four centuries of the Trans-Atlantic slave trade--over 27 million. Of those, two million are children exploited in the commercial sex trade.

Human trafficking is the fastest growing criminal industry in the world, with annual profits exceeding that of ExxonMobil ($32 billion from sex trafficking alone). The average girl forced into prostitution is 13. Many are younger than that.

Hot Cocoa Saves Woman From Life Of Prostitution.

At 12 she was a prostitute. By her teenage years she was homeless. Now, at 49, Theresa Briscoe is helping other women escape the suffering she once endured daily.

Briscoe is the outreach coordinator for No Boundaries, a group dedicated to helping human trafficking victims in southern Oklahoma, according to NewsOK.com and part of No Boundaries International, the umbrella organization that works to end trafficking in Sierra Leone, Southeast Asia and Moldova, KFOR reports.

Now that No Boundaries has partnered with the Salvation Army, Briscoe drives the organization's van around town, stopping to hand out coffee and hot chocolate to prostitutes in hopes of sparking conversations that can eventually lead to liberating them, NewsOK.com reports.
