In a recent episode of his podcast "Penn's Sunday School," comedian Penn Jillette laid his opinions on the Obama drug policies out on the table.
Jillette, who has never done drugs or drank alcohol in his life, expressed particular concern over the policies' broad-sweeping, all-inclusive nature. Namely, that people are going to prison because of marijuana use.
"Now, he has not left this to states' rights," Jillette posited. "As you know, medical marijuana... you can get in California, and the feds are coming in to try to stop this. States' rights don't mean jack sh*t to the Obama administration on anything except gay marriage."
Another point of contention for Jillette was the fact that President Obama mentionedthat he had smoked "weed" and done "maybe a little blow" in his 1995 book "Dreams from my Father."

Baby Test Positive For Cocaine.

If only it was icing.

Jacksonville police say a 4-year-old boy tested positive for cocaine that he might have thought was white icing, according to the Florida Times Union.

It started when cops responded to a complaint about prostitution at Room 306 at the Candlewood Suites.

According to a police report obtained by the Times Union, the cops were eventually let inside the room where they found the 4-year-old child and two men.

The report says the 4-year-old tried to eat something off the floor, but police stopped him. The substance turned out to be cocaine. The police also noticed there was white icing on the floor and that's probably what the child thought he was putting in his mouth, the Times Union reports.

One of the men, Matthew Reagan, told police he rented the room so the child's mother could use it for prostitution. Both men were arrested and, News4 JAX reports, the child's mother could also face charges of child endangerment.

The 4-year-old was transported to a hospital where he tested positive for cocaine.

"The fact that we were called, the fact that authorities were notified, this could have saved this child's life," Jacksonville Sheriff's Office spokesman Shannon Hartley told News4 JAX. "You're talking about very dangerous stuff here when you have a child this young and you have drugs this strong."

Student Finds Unwanted Study Aid In Textbook From Amazon.com.

This gives a whole new meaning to "cracking" open a book.

Sophia Stockton, a college junior in Olathe, Kan., got quite a surprise when she opened the textbook "Understanding Terrorism: Challenges, Perspectives, and Issues," which she recently purchased from Amazon.com, to find a bag of cocaine in between the pages, WPTV reports.

Stockton took the book and bag to the local police station where officers confirmed her suspicion.
"He put some gloves on and put it in a plastic bag," Stockton told KSCW. "He took it back to test it and like 10 minutes later he came back and said, 'Did you happen to order some cocaine with your textbook?'"

Office gets Caught Trying To Buy Drugs.

Memphis, TN - Federal prosecutors say a 32-year-old Memphis police officer has been charged with trying to buy cocaine while in uniform and driving his patrol car.

The U.S. attorney's office for West Tennessee says Melvin Robinson was arrested Thursday while trying to buy what he believed to be 10 kilograms (22 pounds) of cocaine.

Prosecutors said Friday that Robinson has been charged with attempt to possess a controlled substance with intent to distribute. If convicted on the charges, he faces up to life in prison.

Memphis police say Robinson has been on the force since October 2008. He has been relieved of duty with pay during the investigation.

Court records do not list an attorney for Robinson
