Not Even Gay Men Safe From Police Abuse.

A federal lawsuit filed by two men from Cleveland alleges that they were beaten by police officers, humiliated, and denied pants because they were gay.

Cleveland’s Fox 8 News reports that the men, Jonathan Simcox and Steven Ondo, were “subjected to derogatory name-calling and then hauled off to jail in their underwear, despite repeated requests to change clothes.”

The arrest last April stemmed from an incident that occurred a week earlier. The couple say they were confronted by a neighbor as they argued while walking home from a bar. The neighbor was an off-duty Cleveland policeman.

Protect And Serve Or Beat And Kick... Police At It Again.

Armed with batons, four Bronx police officers were caught on camera as they set upon a teenage drug suspect and viciously beat him to the ground.


Horrified witnesses can be heard screaming at the officers to stop as the shocking attack is carried out in a street in broad day light.


Jatiek Reed, 19, was said to have needed staples to his head and was left 'black and blue' after the incident.

Woman Beaten By Houston Police Officer.

A woman who said she was beaten when she tried to record an alleged incident of police brutality last week plans to set off an investigation through the Houston Police Department, said one of the activists behind the effort.

Annika Lewis, 26, went to HPD headquarters Monday to obtain documents that she planned to file with the department's internal affairs division on Tuesday, activist Deric Muhammad said.

The decision came as police representatives declined to respond to specific questions about the alleged incident.

"For this incident to be investigated they need to file an internal affairs division complaint," HPD spokesman Victor Senties said.

Muhammad said the family was in contact with the FBI about an investigation into excessive use of force.
