Young Black Males Are Not Safe Anywhere

    • A teen was shot to death for refusing to give up his tennis shoes to robbers, according to MyFoxChicago.
Sergio Pinex, 18, was returning home from the store with a friend on Thursday morning in Gary, Indiana when robbers pulled beside them and demanded their money and  shoes.

The victim’s grandmother Frances Pinex said, “It was the other guy’s shoes. They took the shoes off the other guy and he didn’t have no money on him, I don’t know if they took his wallet or not, but he refused to get down when they told him to get down. It’s so hard, so hard to believe that he’s gone.”

Pinex’s friend gave up his shoes and wallet and was unharmed. Pinex was shot and killed for refusing to lie down.

White Girls Gone Racist Instead Of Wild

On the heels of a shocking and racist YouTube post by two teens in Gainesville, Fla., an uncannily similar video has surfaced in the state that purports the same disparaging sentiments against black students.

School officials at Santaluces High School in Lantana, Fla., are on alert, WPEC-TV reports, after two white female students posted the racist video about black students at the school, poking fun at the way they talk, and those that wear "weave" hair extensions.

At one point in the post, one of the girls says, "Guys, if you're watching this video now, and you have a weave, and you're black, please be offended -- because we're making fun of you."

Two White Students Speak The Truth Of What Others Whites Really Think.

Last week, eight police officers were brought to the campus in light of death threats the girls were receiving in response to their videos. The videos included comments like, "You can understand what we are saying, our accents, we use actual words. Black people do not."

Gainesville High School principal David Shelnutt did not go into detail on the extent of the disciplinary action taken against the girls, but did tell WCJB that their comments were not welcome at the school.

"There's no place for comments like that, that video here at GHS," Shelnutt told the station. "There's no place for that in the Alachua County Public School System, and my opinion, no place for that in society in general."
