It was a violent fistfight that started inside a popular Louisville nightclub
and spilled into the streets.
Now, several Louisville Metro Police
officers are under investigation.
That's because one of the officers is accused of beating
an innocent man so badly that he had to go to the hospital.
It all started at Prime Lounge on Main Street in downtown
Louisville last December.
A source close to the investigation tells WDRB News that
at least a dozen off-duty Metro Police officers were inside when one of them
allegedly attacked another patron.
"Don't know why they got into an argument; I don't know
why they got into a fight. It just happened," says Joey Wagner, the managing
partner of Prime Lounge.
Wagner says he witnessed the whole confrontation.
