Woman Stopped, baby Founded In Her Purse.

U.S. Virgin Islands -- U.S. Virgin Islands police say a woman was allegedly driving with her newborn baby zipped up in her purse.

A police statement says an officer pulled over a woman driving a pickup during a routine traffic stop Tuesday. While asking for the St. Croix woman's license, the officer reported hearing a baby crying but did not see a baby seat in the vehicle.

The motorist then allegedly unzipped a purse sitting on the seat next to her and revealed a tiny newborn.
Police say the woman told them that the baby girl was born at home a week ago and had no prenatal care. She was apparently driving the infant to a doctor.

Authorities rushed the newborn to a hospital. The mother may face criminal charges. Her name and age were not disclosed.

Black Male Is Shot For Sport By Reality TV Cops.

Deputies in Broward County, Fla., are coming under fire from a man who says he was shot multiple times by police while he was napping in a car.

The deputies have a different take on the March 8 incident. They say they feared for their lives because Brandon Johnson, 21, of Pompano Beach, Fla., drove his borrowed Toyota Echo at them, WPTV reported.
A complaint affidavit about the incident states that Detective Ron Miller and Detective Andrea Penoyer Tianga, a cast member on the TLC reality TV show "Police Women of Broward County," were patrolling Pompano Beach in an unmarked Chevrolet Tahoe when they observed a "suspicious vehicle" backed into a parking space.

According to the affidavit, the two deputies observed "a black male in the driver's seat" "attempting to duck down in an effort not to be seen." Miller reportedly pulled the SUV in front of Johnson's car "to initiate a stop" and turned on police lights. The detectives, in tactical gear as part of a Metro Broward Drug Task Force sweep, approached from the driver's side of Johnson's car.

The deputies said they fired after the vehicle accelerated in an aggressive manner toward them. Although Penoyer Tianga was struck in the leg by the Toyota and knocked into a parked vehicle, she did not sustain serious injuries, according to agency spokeswoman Dani Moschella.

New Law Takes Aim At Black Teens That Want to Sag.

Lawmakers in Tennessee have passed a bill that would prohibit students from showing underwear or body parts in an indecent manner at school, myFOXmemphis reports.

The bill passed overwhelmingly in the Tennessee state Senate and House, and now requires the governor's signature.

Unlike a recent Tennessee bill that failed, the enforcement of this bill doesn't require a ruler or carry penalties of up to $250 and community service, but it does ban saggy pants and clothes that show too much skin on school property.

Instead, this bill allows school districts to decide the punishment.

Reaction among Memphis high school students were mixed. Student Braden Brooks told myFOXmemphis he is happy the bill was passed, as he feels saggy pants are "degrading."

However, former high school student Ian Moss claims the bill will be ineffective.

"Just grown ups making more rules, gonna break em' anyway," he said.

If approved by Republican Gov. Bill Haslam, the law would take effect on July 1.

Another Black Male Dead With No Answers Why Nor How.

A body found in California’s Dominguez Channel has been identified as that of Elgin Stafford, a former intern for U.S. Rep. Karen Bass (D-CA). Authorities have not released any information on the cause of death or circumstances surrounding his death.

Stafford, 23, was a graduate of Carson High School and UC Berkeley, according to the Huffington Post. Stafford, who was raised by parents who had emigrated from Sierra Leone, was working on a master’s degree in public diplomacy.

Killing Of Young Black Teen Today Remain Me Of Lynching During Civil Rights Movement.

Prosecutors tentatively rejected a request by Pasadena police Monday to file an involuntary manslaughter charge against a man who made a false report of being robbed by armed men.

The volatile case has been compared to the fatal shooting of Florida teen ,Trayvon Martin by a neighborhood watchman. Both cases involved shootings of unarmed black teenagers by those who said they believed they had guns.

Pasadena police were seeking a charge of involuntary manslaughter against Oscar Carrillo, the 911 caller who said his laptop and backpack had just been stolen by two men with guns.

Authorities said the call led two police officers, one on foot and one in a car, to shoot Kendrec McDade, a 19-year-old college student. They said he reached for his waistband, seeming to confirm the caller’s report of a man with a gun.

Is this the age of “justifiable homicide”?

A juvenile with McDade was charged with two counts of commercial burglary, one count of grand theft and one count of failure to register as a gang member as a condition of his probation.

Police said the teens matched descriptions provided by Carrillo, witnesses and surveillance footage.

A toddler found dead in the back of a car last week had been abused for months, according to detectives who discovered him with broken ribs, bad bruises and whip marks all over his body.

Nineteen-month-old Zamontay Green’s body was found on March 25 when police in Tulsa, Oklahoma pulled over a car being driven erratically.

Driver Mica Shoate and passenger Jazmin Williams, both 22, have been charged with murder and permitting child abuse and are being held on $1 million bail.

An autopsy revealed the toddler died from blunt force trauma to the head, but detectives say Zamontay had also suffered a a horrifying catalogue of injuries in the months before his death.

He had broken ribs, multiple bruises, subdural haemorrhage, abdominal trauma, and ‘loop marks’ on his legs, the result of being whipped with a rope.

Jazmin Williams and Mica Shoate claim they were driving the 19-month-old to hospital when their car was pulled over by police at 7pm.

They deny murder and insist they’re innocent of abusing the toddler – but their revelations to police paint a bleak and tragic tale of Zamontay’s short life.

Mother Face Life For Starving Baby Girl To Death.

A mother faces life in prison for starving her daughter to death and dumping her body in the trash because the baby didn't fit in with the rest of the family.

Tania Coleman, 21, was convicted today of first-degree murder in Erie, Pennsylvania for the demise of her 14-month-old child, whose decomposed body was found in a suitcase on the street.

Prosecutors said Coleman's chubby-cheeked child Alayja was deprived of food and drink because she was considered the family 'runt.'

In the courtroom, Erie District Attorney Jack Daneri said the young girl was considered a problem for Coleman, who neglected the baby because Alayja did not share the same father as her two other daughters.

Mr Daneri said of Alayja's treatment: 'Everybody else gets cared for but the little runt.'
The exact timing of Alayja's death has not been determined.

In May 2011, Erie firefighters found the girl's decayed body in the suitcase along a street as they responded to a call of a kitchen fire nearby.

Parents Arrested For Starving Son To Death, Watch Him Eat His On Feces.

Dallas police have arrested a father and stepmother for allegedly starving their son to death almost a year ago.
Aaron and Elizabeth Ramsey were arrested on charges of felony injury to a child in the death of missing 11-year-old Johnathan Ramsey, the Associated Press reported.

Aaron Ramsey told police that he saw his son "eat his own feces" out of desperation, according to the Dallas Observer.

The father admitted to starving his son and dumping the body in Ellis County, Texas, police records show.
The Ramseys locked Johnathan in his room after he allegedly hit Elizabeth in the stomach while she was pregnant, causing her to suffer a miscarriage, his father claimed. According to police documents quoted by the International Business Times, the boy's weight dropped from 90 pounds to a mere 60 on the "military rations" of bread and water dished out as punishment for his "violent episodes."

Johnathan's grandfather, Edward Ramsey, alerted police that the boy had been missing, WFAA reported. The grandfather's call came after nearly nine months of getting no response to birthday presents and repeated excuses from his son about his grandson's whereabouts, according to the International Business Times. The paper reported that the boy's mother, a resident of New Mexico, experienced similar problems getting in touch with her son, saying that Aaron Ramsey lied repeatedly on the phone about the boy's condition and location when she called.

Racism Runs Deep In America, Even Comes With A Drink.

A series of controversial Facebook posts condemning African-Americans have cost the bartender at a high-end Chicago nightclub her job.

After posting a status on her personal Facebook page about "one race of people" being "incompetent and disgusting," former Proof Chicago bartender Jessica Elizabeth posted a series of vitriolic comments calling African-Americans "ignorant," "apes," "animals" and using racial slurs.

While the exchange has been removed and her account made private, Chicago restaurant and nightlife blogger 312 Dining Diva has posted screenshots of Elizabeth's comments, which include a post from an apparent Proof representative calling Elizabeth "Hitler" and requesting that she remove the posts, citing a violation of the nightclub's social media contract.

"r u joking? i have a life outside the club," Elizabeth posted in response.

Shortly after the comments began circulating online, Proof reportedly terminated Elizabeth's life inside the club, and issued the following statement, from owner Mike Bloem:

"Proof would like to confirm its belief in equality, fairness and tolerance to all our friends and partners.," Bloem said, according to Eater Chicago. "Sadly, on occasion, we are all exposed to ignorance and racism. We believe that by continuing to be true to our ideals and leading through our actions that each of us can be an agent for positive change."

Several commenters on 312 Dining Diva and Proof's Yelp profile cited additional instances of purported mistreatment based on their race from other staff members at the club.

How Did Zimmerman, A Career Criminal Get A Gun Permit? Judge Daddy!

Obtained shocking court documents showing that Zimmerman has a long, checkered history of violence, including domestic disputes with a former fiancee who turned to the courts for help.

Zimmerman’s ex-fiancee, Veronica Zuazo of Orlando, petitioned an Orange County, Fla., court in 2005 for an injunction of protection, claiming that on at least three occasions Zimmerman’s unpredictable temper led to violent physical outbursts.

In one incident, Zuazo says Zimmerman was upset after she arrived home later than usual.
“He was sexually groping me and said he could because Iwas his woman,” she charged in a statement to the court.

“I told him no, to leave me alone. He picked me up and threw me on the bed.”

A frightened Zuazo says Zimmerman finally left after she smacked him.

And in July 2005, the thug was arrested on felony charges of resisting an officer with violence and battery on a law enforcement officer during an altercation at an Orlando bar popular with college students.

The charge was later reduced to a misdemeanor count of resisting an officer without violence, and Zimmerman served eight months community service.

But now he’s in even more trouble. On the night of Trayvon’s shooting, Zimmerman claimed he was on his way to the grocery store when he spotted the youth, who was wearing a “hoodie” sweatshirt. He called police, and despite being told to remain in his vehicle, he got out.

Zimmerman's Father Calls In Favor To Save Son From Arrest.

Everybody is wondering why George Zimmerman wasn't arrested? It is very clear that his father , the ex-judge called in a favor to the DA. It is the same old system in the south of whites protecting whites, when they kill a black male.

Trayvon Martin's parents want the U.S. Justice Department to investigate possible interference by a state attorney immediately after their son was killed.

Martin was shot as he was walking to his father's fiancee's house after buying some candy and iced tea. George Zimmerman says he shot Martin in self-defense.

Martin family attorney Benjamin Crump wrote the DOJ a letter asking for them investigate how the shooting was handled. In the letter, Crump writes that lead homicide investigator Chris Serino filed an affidavit pushing for charges the night Martin was shot, but was overruled by the state's attorney's office.

Black Child Begs For Life After Bring Shot In Head

Four year old Isaiah Nicholas is now in a coma after being shot in the head by a man who fired on a group of children at a playground in Houston. The boy held his mother’s hand in the ambulance on the way to the hospital, repeatedly saying “Mama, I don’t want to die,” during the drive.

He is now unconscious in critical condition at Hermann Memorial Children’s Hospital. Houston police say that the suspect is known, but remains at large. There was reportedly an argument that started before the shooting began.

Isaiah’s grandmother, Lisa Ceasar, says that she heard arguing before the gun shots at 5 pm and came out on her porch. The man was reportedly aiming at the porch and a game room where children were playing, including Isaiah.

“I saw that man shooting up my house and the bullets flying.”

After the shooting started, that’s when Lisa went into the house to find her son lying on the ground, next to his two year old brother Adrian. He was covered in blood.

The shooting of Isaiah Nicholas is yet another call to arms for all of us who insist upon putting an end to this kind of senseless violence within the black community. I personally recall a similar incident this year in my hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, where a child was shot in the head after a man fired bullets into the home after an argument. In another incident in Memphis, a one year old boy was shot after an argument. The list of such tragedies is long enough to fill this page many times over.

Black Children Walkout For Better Education, Not To End Up Like Trayvon.

About 50 students were suspended Thursday from the all-boys Frederick Douglass Academy in Detroit, Mich. for walking out of classes in protest, demanding "an education."

Among their complaints: a lack of consistent teachers, the reassignment of the school principal, educators who abuse sick time and a shortage of textbooks.

"We've been wronged and disrespected and lied to and cheated," senior Tevin Hill told the Detroit Free Press. "They didn't listen to us when we complained to the administration. They didn't listen to the parents when they complained to the administration, so I guess this is the only way to get things solved."

One math teacher, parent Sharise Smith tells WJBK-TV, has been absent for more than 68 days.
The students marched outside the school and chanted, "We want... education! When do we want it? Now!"
Students and parents became increasingly alarmed when Frederick Douglass was no longer listed as an application school in the district -- current students had to apply to attend. Smith told the Free Press that her son was given an A in geometry without taking a final exam.

"It was by default, just for showing up. It wasn't because he earned an A," she said.

It Wasn't Zimmerman Calling For Help In Killing Trayvon.

Before George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin on February 26, a 911 call recorded the voice of someone screaming. Whether that person was Martin or Zimmerman -- who police say claimed he was attacked by Martin before the fatal incident -- has been an open question since the calls were released by the Sanford, Florida police department.

The Orlando Sentinel consulted two voice experts to try to settle the debate, and both came to the same conclusion: The cries could not have come from George Zimmerman.
One expert, Tom Owen, used voice identification software to rule out Zimmerman as the source. From the Sentinel:

"I took all of the screams and put those together, and cut out everything else," Owen says. The software compared that audio to Zimmerman's voice. It returned a 48 percent match. Owen said to reach a positive match with audio of this quality, he'd expect higher than 90 percent.
"As a result of that, you can say with reasonable scientific certainty that it's not Zimmerman," Owen says, stressing that he cannot confirm the voice as Trayvon's, because he didn't have a sample of the teen's voice to compare.

Open Season On Young Black Male. A Lie Gets Another Unarmed Black Teen Killed

As the fatal shooting of Florida teen Trayvon Martin roils the nation, residents of Pasadena, Calif., are trying to come to grips with their own needless death. It involves another youth who, in this instance, was shot by the Pasadena Police Department after they received a 911 call about an armed robbery on March 24. Kendrec McDade’s death took an even more tragic turn when, in the aftermath of the shooting, the police learned that the 911 caller had lied about 19-year-old McDade having a gun.

The case has drawn parallels to the Martin case because both of the dead teenagers were black and unarmed. “They were young black men who are, when the situation comes up, targets of violence,” says Earl Ofari Hutchinson, the president of the Los Angeles Urban Police Roundtable. But that is where the similarity ends, argues Lt. Phlunte Riddle of the Pasadena P.D. Self-appointed neighborhood-watch volunteer George Zimmerman shot Martin as he was walking home, whereas McDade and his juvenile accomplice allegedly attempted to break into a cash register at a restaurant prior to stealing a backpack and computer from a parked car, said Riddle. McDade acted as a “lookout” during the alleged burglary, according to Riddle.
